A squirrel dines at a pumpkin. |
When we last posted about
pumpkin guts, we speculated that a critter could be responsible for the mishmash of pumpkin by the porch. The gourd, it turns out, is in fact a banquet for a squirrel. (See photo.) After this photo was taken, another pumpkin was cracked and added to the mix. We have heard reports that a squirrel was spotted by that pumpkin, too, munching on seeds. A pumpkin seed got stuck by its furry ear, and it tried to brush the seed off with its paw.
